The three books forming the Index I – III are a part of the video work Poka, which depicts the grandfather of the artist, who struggling with a non hereditary form of dementia is bound to the bed and can't speak anymore. The three books of the index try to locate the grandfather as a person outside of himself, using memories and stories told about him and of and current photographs of himself as also of the surroundings he was living in at the moment of the work.
